You can buy a single ticket for your friend with the value loaded on your travel card, if your friend belongs to the same or lower age group with you. Pay your own trip first (season or single ticket) and then show the travel card again to the reader of the ticket device. A single ticket according to your age group will be charged for the value of the travel card.
If you have also paid for your friend's trip, show the travel card twice to the ticket machine also when changing from one means of transport to another.
You can buy a 90 minute single ticket for up to nine people. Tickets for a larger group are valid only for the single trip.
No you cannot. You need one ticket for one trip. If the zones of your season ticket do not cover the whole trip, you can buy a Single Ticket using contactless payment or Nysse Mobiili app.

No, you can not. The use of travel cards as a means of payment for sports services ended in Tampere on 31 January 2025 and in Nokia and Ylöjärvi on 31 December 2024.
Nysse is moving to an account-based payment system in 2025. In the reform, the use of the travel card as a means of payment for sports services will be discontinued.
We want to focus purely on the needs of Nysse's customers and on improving the customer experience. This change will allow us to develop a more flexible and efficient payment system for Nysse customers.
The cash value remains on the travel card, it does not expire.
No, they cannot. The senior discount is only allowed for the first passenger, whereas the fare for the second passenger is the normal adult charge.
You can carry small kick scooter (also electric scooters) on a bus or a tram free of charge, if it is folded and carried in by hand. For bigger means of transport you have to buy a single ticket according to your age group. Bigger items can be brought in if there is room on board for it.
The active pass can be loaded onto your travel card at the Nysse customer service or on the Nella.fi online service.
On Nella.fi, the active pass can be found in the purchase function under the Other benefits tab. You need to identify yourself using Suomi.fi e-Identification.
With an active pass, you can load either a value ticket or a season ticket onto your travel card.
If you want both a value ticket and a season ticket, you can load a €45 value ticket on your card and any season ticket for which you pay the excess of €45.
From 1.1.2025 onwards, there will be no co-payment for tickets loaded with an active pass.
