All single tickets are valid for 90 minutes. During this time, the ticket can be used to change from one means of transport to another in the zones you have selected for the ticket.
The validity of the ticket must be confirmed for each starting journey. The ticket device can be found on buses and trams near the entrance, on train journeys on the station platform.
Tällaisessa tapauksessa yleensä toinen busseista on aikataulustaan myöhässä. Vuorottelun avulla on mahdollisuus kiriä aikataulua kiinni ja ehtiä seuraavalle lähdölle ajallaan.
The price cap limits how much you pay for all your journeys in 90 minutes or 24 hours with contactless payment. Even if you show the means of payment to a ticket device dozens of times within these time limits, you will only pay up to the maximum price cap for the zones you have selected for all the tickets you have purchased.
A personal travel card can be acquired by a person with a Finnish personal identity code. A travel card includes more extensive services, such as online top-up, deactivation service and replacement of a lost card.
A holder-specific card can be obtained by anyone as the customer information is not saved. Only the age group is recorded on the card.
You can check the value on any travel card with the card reader when paying your fare. You can also ask for a value receipt from the bus driver. All the distributors can also provide receipts.

If the customer's phone number is stored in the customer data of the card delivered to us, we will send you an SMS about the found travel card.
Printable timetables can be found at Nysse lines website.
You can buy a new travel card from customer service or the Nella.fi online service . The new card will be charged according to the fare list.
If you want to transfer ticket products from a lost card to a new card, the new card must be purchased from customer service and the transfer must be made immediately when the card is purchased. A passenger travelling with a child in a pram or a stroller may travel free of charge in buses and trams in all zones, A-F. For safety reasons, the child must stay in the pram or stroller for the duration of the trip.
In local trains the travel rules are according to VR. You can find VR travelling instructions here.
When travelling with Nysse, you confirm your right to travel on each of your trips by showing your ticket - even the mobile tickets and season tickets - to the ticket device. Information on the number of passengers on buses and trams is obtained based on the verifying process. The service level of public transport (number of trips and schedule) is based on passenger volume data in terms of time and routes. Based on this information, it is therefore possible to better plan a service that meets the needs.
In addition, in a public transport system where everyone validates their ticket when boarding, the number of ticketless passengers remains low. All passengers benefit from this, as ticket prices can be kept affordable for everyone.
If the validity of the ticket has not been confirmed, the ticket inspector has the right to charge an inspection fee of €80.00. This is defined in Nysse's Ticket and Payment Terms.
