Significant detours in the center of Tampere on June 15, 2024
The main party of the Manse Pride event will be celebrated in Tampere on Saturday 15 June 2024. The Manse Pride march will proceed from Keskustori through Hämeenkatu and the station tunnel to Sorsapuisto starting at 2 p.m.
Public transport will make room for the procession by using detours in the afternoon between 13:45 and 15:30. The special routes do not appear in the Nysse Journey Planner due to the short duration of the situation. Routes can be viewed in the map service, which works best on larger screens. The schedules shown in the service do not correspond to the situation.
Due to the exceptional situation, there will also be delays. Schedules are expected to return to normal by early evening.
Exceptions in the tram service
The tram service will be suspended starting at 2 p.m. on both lines between the city center and Sammonaukio.
- Line 1 serves between Santalahti and the city center if possible.
- Lines 1 and 3 serve in the east as far as Sammonaukio.
- Tram stops Tuulensuu, Keskustori, Koskipuisto, Sorin aukio, Rautatieasema and Tulli may be closed during the situation.
Both tram lines will return to their normal routes as soon as it is possible.
Exceptions in the bus service
Buses will use detours in the afternoon from 13:45 to 15:30.
- The buses bypass the center of Tampere and run via Finlayson or Ratinanranta.
- The buses that normally end to Keskustori will stay at Ratina or Sorin aukio.
- The Keskustori, Koskipuisto and Rautatieasema stops will be closed.
- Due to the special routes, the buses will also miss several other stops in the city center, such as Metso, Rongankatu and Yliopistonkatu stops.
Buses will not operate on Hämeenkatu, Rautatienkatu, Itsenäisyydenkatu and Yliopistonkatu routes.
Special bus routes
These routes are valid on June 15, 2024 at 13:45 - 15:30.
The route is normal between Särkänniemi and Amuri as well as Osmonmäki and Rauhaniemi. Special routes in the city center:
- Amuri – Finlayson – Osmonmäki: Satakunnankatu (stops Mustanlahdenkatu 0059, Finlayson 0072, Frenckell 0038, Paloasema 0536) – Rautatienkatu – Erkkilänkatu - Kullervonkatu – Tammelan puistokatu (stop Tapionkatu 0546) - Pohjolankatu
- Osmonmäki - Finlayson – Amuri: Pohjolankatu - Tammelan puistokatu (stop Tapionkatu 0545) – Kullervonkatu – Erkkilänkatu – Rautatienkatu – Satakunnankatu (stops Paloasema 0537 ja Finlayson 0087)

The route is normal between Länsi-Hervanta and Ratina as far as to the intersection of Tampereen valtatie and Hatanpään valtatie. The western route is normal as far as Pyynikintori. Special routes in the city center:

The route is normal between Vatiala and Kaleva. The special routes in the city center are:

The starting and ending station of line 70 will be in Pyynikintori. The bus uses stops Pyynikintori E 0029 on Pirkankatu as well as Pirkankatu F 0031 in the Pyynikintori square.

- towards city center Aleksanterin kirkko 0025
- towards Nokia Keskustori K 0005, Metso 0024 and Pyynikintori D 0028
The starting and ending station of lines 80, 81 and 82 will be in Pyynikintori. The buses use stops Pyynikintori E 0029 on Pirkankatu as well as Pirkankatu F 0031 in the Pyynikintori square.
Line 81 runs between Santalahti and Pyynikintori via Sepänkatu. The stops Savilinna 0098/0099 are on the route.
- Linjojen 80 ja 82 reitiltä jää pois lännen suuntainen Pirkankadun pysäkki Pyynikintori D 0028 sekä pysäkit Aleksanterin kirkko 0025, Metso 0024, Keskustori G 0002.
- Linjalta 81 jää pois kaikki Särkänniemen ja Keskustorin väliset pysäkit.
