Edited 12.2.2024 at 9.40 am: added information that on Tuesday 13 Feb traffic will run as normal.

A political strike will stop train services on Monday 12 February 2024. All long-distance, night and commuter trains will be cancelled during the strike. The strike will also affect train services in the Nysse region.

On Tuesday 13 February, traffic will run as normal. However, individual changes are possible.

VR will provide more information on the effects of the strike as the data becomes more precise: vr.fi/news

Monday's train services will be shown as cancelled in the Nysse Journey Planner by Monday morning 12 Feb 2024 at the latest.

Buses and trams in the Nysse area will run as normal. There may be congestion, especially in the morning and afternoon, when travelling from Lempäälä, Nokia and Orivesi to Tampere and back. Please allow enough time for your journey.
