Nysse fares will increase in January

Wednesday 18. December 2024 klo 10.58

Nysse ticket fares will increase by an average of seven per cent on 1 January. The new fares are due to an increase in VAT from 10% to 14% and the removal of the climate subsidy. Transport costs are also rising.

The fare changes apply to both season and single tickets in all zones. A single ticket on a travel card, a value ticket, will remain cheaper than a mobile single ticket or contactless payment.

The fares for event tickets, staff tickets, school tickets, and school transport subsidy tickets will be increased accordingly. The price of the advance ticket and the purchase price of the travel card will not change.
