The best events are just a Nysse journey away
Nokia Arena is an event center located in the heart of Tampere, which can accommodate up to 15,000 spectators. The arena is a short walk away from the train station, bus station, as well as Sorin aukio and Ratina bus stops.
Joint tickets for Nysse and events
Tickets for major events may include the right to travel on Nysse buses and trams. For example, match tickets and season tickets for the league and CHL matches of Ilves and Tappara in Nokia Arena include the right to travel with Nysse on the day of the home game.
If your event ticket does not include the right to travel, you can easily pay for your trip in a means of transport with contactless payment or buy a ticket in advance from the Nysse Mobiili app.
Detours during events
The area around Nokia Arena can be closed to traffic during major events, so that the public can move around the area safely. Depending on the number of participants in the event, roadblocks will be placed on Vuolteenkatu, Rautatienkatu and Kalevantie.
Buses 2, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 19, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 40, 42, 80, 95 and 103 operate on detours during the arrangement. Other buses and trams run normally. Information about the arrangements during the events is provided in the Journey Planner, on the stops and cabin screens, and on this website.
